Abstract: This research conducts a systematic review of 15 articles focusing on AI practices within organizations from a Training and Development (T&D) perspective. The primary aim is to explore AI practice trends and the implications for Human Resource Development (HRD), particularly in the field of T&D. Through systematic review methodology, this research examines publication years, research locations, methodologies, and AI definitions in the literature. Three key themes emerge from the literature trends: 1) training for effective collaboration between humans and AI, 2) preparing the workforce for AI-driven transitions, and 3) ethical considerations in AI programs. The findings propose T&D programs categorized into three levels: 1) technical skills, soft skills, and mindfulness training for employees, 2) leadership development training for managers, and 3) succession planning and ethical training at the organizational level. In conclusion, this review offers suggestions for future research and T&D interventions for HRD scholars and practitioners. These implications are timely as HRD professionals play a crucial role in developing appropriate training for employees, managers, and organizations in AI-integrated work environments.
