Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among meaningful work, employee engagement, job crafting, and career commitment. Data were collected from 347 employees from multiple companies and the study primarily used structural equation modeling to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings indicated that meaningful work directly affected employee engagement, job crafting, and career commitment. In addition, meaningful work, employee engagement, and job crafting positively and significantly influenced career commitment. Discussion and implications are presented along with limitations and recommendations for future research.
