Jieun Yi is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development in the College of Education and Human Development, at Texas A&M University. She received two master’s degrees in Sociology from Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan, and Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea. Prior to joining the doctoral program, she worked for three years as a researcher in management consulting companies. Her main focus is diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, specifically exploring women's career development in East Asian societies.
