Darlene Russ-Eft, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus of Adult and Higher Education, College of Education, Oregon State University and assistant professor of practice in Technology Leadership and Innovation at Purdue University. She is also a faculty member in the doctoral program in human resource development for the National Institute for Development Administration in Bangkok, Thailand. Her research focuses on workplace education and learning, leadership development, and evaluation of HRD interventions. Her most recent book is titled Managing Social Science Research (2017, Wiley). She is past president of the Academy of Human Resource Development; past board member of the American Evaluation Association; past director of the International Board of Standards for Training, Performance, and Instruction, and past editor of Human Resource Development Quarterly. She has received recognition as elected to the HRD Scholar Hall of Fame and as a Fellow by the International Board of Standards for Training, Performance, and Instruction.
