Abstract: Problem-Based Learning (PBL) uses real-world, authentic problems to facilitate active learning, collaborative problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-time knowledge exploration. The workshop instructors facilitate a PBL workshop where participants will learn about the essentials of PBL, experience the PBL process within a small group setting, and learn how to facilitate immersive small group learning using a PBL method. By the end of this workshop, participants will understand the PBL process and how to facilitate a PBL group effectively. After the workshop, the facilitators will ask participants to evaluate their learning experience in conjunction with a learning environment and facilitation quality.
