Dr. Alina M. Waite is Assistant Professor of Human Resource Development and Performance Technologies in the College of Technology at Indiana State University, Indiana, USA. She earned her BS degree in Electrical Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering Option from the University of New Mexico (1988), a MS degree in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (1991), and a PhD degree in Organizational Performance and Change from Colorado State University (2008). Her current research interests include team development, leadership, process improvement, and innovation. She is a member of the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD) and the editorial board of Advances in Developing Human Resources. Prior to her academic career she held a variety of management positions in Europe and the USA, including the Director of Research and Development of an international company specializing in the design, development, and manufacture of medical devices.
