Angela Rogers is a doctoral candidate in Workforce Education and Development at Penn State. She is currently conducting her dissertation research and she works part time in Leadership Development, Culture and Student Programs at the Penn State Applied Research Lab, whose purpose is to ethically and continually embed inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility, leadership, and social responsibility (IDEALS) into a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding work environment and culture to ensure everyone benefits, belongs, and thrives.
Angela has a B.A. in Journalism and a M.S. in Workforce Education and Development. She is a member of the Association for Talent Devleopment and president of the Pittsburgh ATD chapter. She is a member ofToastmasters International and is a Distinguished Toastmaster.
She is a qualitative researcher and a certified NVivo expert Her academic interests are: onboarding, diversity, equity, and inclusion, mentoring, and communication, leadership, workplace wellness.
